Bin Laden’s Message to Israel

Osama bin Laden released a special birthday message for the State of Israel this week: al-Qaeda will continue to wage its war against the Jewish state and its Western allies. The audio message, which is being analyzed to determine its authenticity, was posted on a Jihadist website during Israel’s 60th anniversary celebrations. In his statement, bin Laden claimed that the Palestinian cause is the driving force behind al-Qaeda’s war with the West, and that the plight of the Palestinian people motivated the September 11th attacks on the US. There has been a multimillion dollar bounty on the terrorist leader’s head since the 2001 attacks, but he has continued to evade capture.
